Week of 8/28

This week I was assigned a partner and designated to the team responsible for developing the cabin for the 12th scale model. After being given the objectives, I consulted with Dr. Furman regarding what aspects and features I should look for in designing the cabin.

Keeping physical aspects such as aerodynamics and weight in mind, the cabin should have a somewhat futuristic look to it to accommodate the futuristic concept. Research is to be conducted between me and my partner in order to give a brief presentation on our findings and plans for the following week.

Week of 4/18

This week I was able to get a print of our podcar finished by the Central Shop. At this point in time we have two finished models available for use, with a third model in the works from Professor Youseffi. I plan to procure at least 2 more (for a total of 5) podcars in our stable of models.

This week I plan to consult some time with prof Youssefi regarding a 3D render of our finalized podcar. Upon learning the costs of printing out a cabin, we decided to fore go a second prototype and do as much of the assessment on computer (which we should have done in the first place)
