Week of 9/6

Following our presentations, we were given feedback from a multitude of persons. Since our core concept revolves primarily around aesthetics, we took suggestions and things to consider from our instructors.

One of the things we were told to give thought to was how it would be viewed from the underside. People may not be too fond of looking up only to see a giant looming box, so some transparent portions may be incorporated into the final design. Additionally, the cabins should be made to fit with their environment.

This week is our final meeting for the project term, and I have successfully completed my tasks as part of the Cabin Design team. We will now spend the next week preparing for Maker Faire.

Week of 4/18

This week I was able to get a print of our podcar finished by the Central Shop. At this point in time we have two finished models available for use, with a third model in the works from Professor Youseffi. I plan to procure at least 2 more (for a total of 5) podcars in our stable of models.

This week I plan to consult some time with prof Youssefi regarding a 3D render of our finalized podcar. Upon learning the costs of printing out a cabin, we decided to fore go a second prototype and do as much of the assessment on computer (which we should have done in the first place)
