week of 11/8

Continuing the development of our 2nd prototypes in which we factor in aspects such as aesthetics and aerodynamics. Multiple models are being drafted in SolidWorks in order to gain input on aesthetic quality and to compare aerodynamic qualities.

This week is our final meeting for the project term, and I have successfully completed my tasks as part of the Cabin Design team. We will now spend the next week preparing for Maker Faire.

Week of 4/18

This week I was able to get a print of our podcar finished by the Central Shop. At this point in time we have two finished models available for use, with a third model in the works from Professor Youseffi. I plan to procure at least 2 more (for a total of 5) podcars in our stable of models.

This week I plan to consult some time with prof Youssefi regarding a 3D render of our finalized podcar. Upon learning the costs of printing out a cabin, we decided to fore go a second prototype and do as much of the assessment on computer (which we should have done in the first place)
